I found the initial offer to be good (Base + OTE numbers were attractive). Sales cycles at SAS are rather long 12-18+ months. Also the industry you are selling in really matters as our software really only sells in Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Government. Outside of those industries it is very difficult to win a new logo at all. No one in my business unit are hitting their numbers this year as we are outside of these core business areas.
