Earning potential is great, but you are working three jobs in one as an outside sales rep at Paycom. You are your own SDR and systems engineer in addition to sales. In 2024, quota was 960K, which means you make over 500K as an exec reps. This is not an easy role by any means. It was actually maybe the hardest thing I've ever done - I did it for 5 years. You wont survive unless Paycom becomes your whole life and you sell your soul to it.

Great Pay, Great commission structure, everything else is brutal, crazy hours in the office, early mornings late nights, their turnover rate is beyond scary for a reason. On average most reps last between 6-9 months and then quit or get fired. There are a few who make it but wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
