Paycom is a great company for someone who is starting their career in sales. They have great sales training and trainers. They focus a lot on quantity rather than quality, they are truly a numbers organization. If you can focus on getting the right accounts and selling them fast, you will succeed.

This company is very unique. Anything over 40 hours per week you get overtime pay (1.5x hourly rate). Sounds like an awesome feature. However, when you consider the fact that there are commission paybacks if a client leaves within 6 months, it makes sense. Quota is ridiculously high in this role. Very cut-throat environment. Either perform or else. Definitely seen as a number. It's a lucrative opportunity, but it comes with a cost.
