How bad is Prisma Cloud segment struggling? I saw in another question that there arent relationships on that side, the quotas are too high for what Prisma Cloud sells for, etc

For those who are at PAN, is Prisma Cloud the worst segment to work for? Are the getting better/worse?

This answer is highly dependent on the segment ( strategic / majors / enterprise/ mid mkt / sled / verticals etc). 
Some really struggling & Some not. 
general comment - the smaller the segment customer is,  the more the struggle..  Goals seem too high.  It’s all about the specific goal.

The goals are low but they do not win a lot of deals. It is a very tough sale. Wiz is eating clouds lunch!

The big problem with Prisma Cloud is the Core team because they prioritize the sale of Firewalls, Cortex and in the end Prisma Cloud so the first battle is internal, also many people within PAN do not understand the use cases of Prisma Cloud therefore they do not promote the solution. Regarding the quotas, I consider that they are not in line with the market.

Depending on the segment and virtical quota attainment is very tough. For smaller segments like SMB, Commercial, and Mid-Market we were loosing deals left and right to Wiz. I would advise to stay away from smaller segments.

Struggling big time.  major management turnover and product leadership gone.  Still a good company but they aren't winning any new CNAPP Cloud security deals.  they are 'holding on' and trying to expand their existing customers.  They will survive and eventually have a better deployment and user experience.  right now they are struggling and will be for at least another year.  they have the money to fix this and to remain a player in the space.

Prisma Cloud segment is struggling very hard for a variety of reasons. Prisma Cloud is certainly the worst segment to work for. Good reps are being let go due to factors outside their control. New management is not good. Stay away. I don't think the quotas are too high, the product just doesn't sell to new customers.

It’s pretty hit and miss at Prisma Cloud. Lots of changes in last 6 months adding to chaos. I would estimate 25-35% making quota and it’s super hard to make quota back to back years.
