Your experience at Orkin all depends on your branch manager. The comp plan doesn’t change which helps offset the low base pay you’re offered. The downside is you are extremely micromanaged from the division level down to the branch level. Overall not a bad job. I’m new to sales and glad I started here but outside of swarm season it can be rough. I don’t feel overly pressured by management but I have noticed anyone without significant b2c experience seems to struggle to make numbers for at least the first year or two.
