Overall experience would of been much better with different timing. I got in Oracle right before the mass layoffs and then a very long hiring freeze which completely took away upward mobility. I would reckon my experience would of been way better had economic circumstances not derailed the promotion process.

Oracle is the top position for any professional sales rep. It offers very good compensation packages depending on experience level and other factors. It is possible to make close or at 1m annually. Overall, this experience was good. There was many things that frustrated me about the role, but it is a good product with reasonable metrics/expectations. There is definitely greener grass out there, but many who quickly left regretted it.
