My overall experience has been OK in such of a toxic work culture. Internal sales teams are not collaborative and tend to try to box you out. Reps in my role tend to do the heavy lifting and views and work put in tends to be ignored and unrecognized. They stress work life balance and transparency but implement change without strategy and adjust compensation throughout the year without reason. Good place to start and even if you are young 31 or below, you will likely not climb upwards to a field role given the tendency to hire externally.

Team culture at federal group was best I experienced at Oracle - direct and upper management protected their reports and actually took action on typical oracle issues. Big downside = ability to actually create demand and sell given govt red tape on Oracle + low base/comp when coming from inside promotion.... Oracle is on the up. But success is difficult in most greenfield patches. It is critical to have consuming customers or customers with legacy Oracle database or applications.
