Oracle is a giant conglomerate of different teams and orgs, which means internally it's incredibly process oriented. However, anything that doesn't fit a process requires multi-week workarounds and approvals. Working here you feel like a gear in a small machine in a bigger machine in a bigger machine, aka just an number. There is zero culture and most people feel pessimistic about the future, but hey, the compensation is decent!

Ok, low level of learning and poor pay/compensation. The team culture struggled

No initial training, went through 2 managers in one year and was eventually left without a manager. Part of widespread layoffs. Wasn't able to develop or really find footing in 2 years. Base comp good, stagegate to getting any variable pay of about 50%. Laid off right before landing 2.5m deal that took most of a year.
