If you’re thinking about joining as an SDR, I’d suggest giving it a second thought. Leadership has a habit of promoting externally rather than supporting internal growth, which can feel discouraging. The pay is decent, but if you’re a top performer, you might run into roadblocks like capped opportunities or shifting targets that make it tough to hit accelerators. Management is hands-off, which is nice, but since SDRs are under marketing, there’s often a struggle for credit on deals, and the rules of engagement seem to change constantly. This could be a decent role if you’ve got years of tech sales experience under your belt (AE,CSM ONLY), but if you’re new to the field and looking for mentorship and career growth, you might want to keep looking.
