Okta is an excellent company with a well-rounded sales support system that truly sets reps up for success. The product has a strong market fit, especially in identity and access management, making it easier to drive sales in both mid-market and enterprise segments. Compensation is very competitive, rewarding hard work and dedication. However, while the product's fit leads to strong initial sales, driving large, transformational deals that bring in even higher compensation can be more challenging. On a slightly negative note, the company's GTM approach seems to continuously evolve, trying to find better footing each year, leading to imbalance in territories and a clear understanding of best ways to hit goals. Okta is continuously innovating and making products better, so there's always something new/better to sell, which is a huge positive. And customers really seem to love Okta by and large because of how great the product, support, and need for the solutions are today and in the future.
The overall experience at Okta is positive, with a balanced focus on career growth and a supportive environment that fosters both professional and financial success.
