Odoo is a good place to start your AE journey. You will learn quick and get a good grasp of the product within the first 4-6 months. We work with businesses between 1-100 people. You get to learn about so many different industries and how Odoo works in their ecosystem. The people are amazing too and I enjoy being around them pretty much at all times. We also get free lunch, snacks, fruits, and coffee. The downside is the base pay and attainment. We get paid less than other SMB AEs and the commission is not amazing either. Also not many people hit quota. Historically only 20-30% of reps hit consistently and the lead flow lacks in quality. We are also hiring a lot of people too as which makes the good leads scarce. There is very good job security meaning that if you work hard and stay on your deals/tasks then you will not lose your job.
