Incredible technology / product
Sharp and talented people across many depts
Complex tech / disciplined sales process - good for resume / career
Cons:
Lots of volatility as they try to figure out how to change the GTM / org structure and comp structure - still haven't figured it out, the result: impossible to hit OTE, comp plans are already below market rate and bet on earning about 50% of your OTE at best.
Very high attrition at all levels.
Senior Leaders are toxic, very much a boy's fraternity, very few promo opportunities these days as the org is struggling internally, but any promos made are not on meritocracy - that culture is long gone at MDB.
Leaders are all inspection with zero coaching or value add - mostly because they too don't know how to solve the problems AEs and front-line managers are facing.
Non-existent inbound Marketing Engine - all opportunity is self-sourced -- territory will make or break you
Bottom line:
From a PMF and resume branding POV = recommend
From a culture / earnings / long-term career internally POV = do not recommend
