Konica Minolta
Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Overall, there is a high potential for earning here but the position title of Account Executive is misleading. As one is more likely to do tasks more suited to a BDR or SDR. The best thing about working at Konica is they have a vast catalog of services to sell. But it is not the easiest space to move around in to close a deal. Even a single copier sale can be a handful to manager once the contract is signed. There are so many non-selling tasks that sellers have to do such as coordinating with the administrative team to ensure timely delivery, constantly checking that the funding has gone through, addressing current account concerns. There is also a disconnect between marketing and the front-sellers. If you are an account executive, be ready to put your SDR hat on and write your content, book your own meetings and source your prospecting. It is guerilla sales and not for the faint of heart.
But once you do hit a big deal and your quota, then the compensation is more than fair. The base pay leaves a lot to be desired at 55k.
Tenacity and resilience goes a long way here. Browse Other Reviews
