My overall experience was very positive. Right after university, I got a position as a Sales Engineer at Keyence, where I was given a lot of responsibility from day one and received strong training as a sales representative through external courses and my own interest. The onboarding process is structured and well thought out, and from day one, you're shown the career opportunities within the company.

Good company and good product. The career advancement path is very well laid out as well. Biggest downside is the micromanagement of working for a japanese company.

Good place to start as a sales engineer to learn the automation space. KEYENCE does a good job of supporting its reps.
