They are in a continuous state of restructure. Leadership turn overs, account re-alignment is constant. Less than 10% of reps hit quota.

I joined Iterable for the people, but most of the original sales leaders are now gone. New leadership in sales, marketing, across customer success means lots of shifting sands, and it doesn't feel like the organization will find it's footing for a quite a while.

My experience started off well, however the change in Sales Leadership at the top caused chaos internally. I believe the company has a good product, but fell victim to the remote world with both employees and customers. Scale has been achieved, but it will take a very strong outspoken leader to come in and make the hard changes.

Terrible company. Don't work here unless you're okay with micromanagement and not hitting quota despite doing everything you can do.

Honestly, do not work here if you want to be successful in sales. People can (and do) coast here, collect a paycheck, and can get by. 10% of the company hits their number. Little to no enablement. Zero areas for growth. Right now is probably the worst time to join in company history.

Honestly, it's a miserable place to work. They just laid off a ton of the sales team, nobody hits quota, everyone is miserable, every process takes so long to get done.. They make it so hard to actually do your job here. I'd highly recommend against it

Great company, amazing product, enjoyable coworkers - but the company is often struggling to compete in the SMB segment. For the most part, only tenured SMB reps are hitting quota. At one point it was a great place to work but overall not a great spot. During the last year or so I was there it went pretty down hill. Not many reps hit quota, less than 10% in emerging/SMB. Sales Ops does more harm than anything, and managers can be hit or miss.

Iterable started off as an amazing place to work, and it still is most of the time. The restructuring of SC comp plans has been a challenge as its seemed more as a cost saving exercise versus a chance for us to make more money. Quotas got excessively higher, pay outs lower, and it feels like the culture has shifted. Hoping it gets better again.

Iterable is a fantastic product, but marketing automation is a HIGHLY competitive space, which creates a confusing, overwhelming experience for prospects evaluating a new tool. Not enough inbound opportunities to go around, which means small business AEs are expected to prospect for the majority of our pipeline, manage the full sales cycle, and demo the product.
