Are quotas achievable and reasonable at Informatica? Have they been on the rise or declined in the past few quarters for sales professionals?

Yes quotas are achievable, usually once you figure out the sale and formula, over achievement is consistent YOY.

Quotas havent gone up in my 4 years here.  Actually went down this year by 25%… as I lost a couple accts.

The TAM is huge & if you’re a creative salesperson you should do very well.

Yes, both achievable and reasonable - despite a 15% increase this year. The issue is not qoutas but lack of inbound leads from external channels (partners, eco-system, marketin, BDM etc.) You should expect to build, run and close 95+% of your pipeline yourself. No free lunches - but the good deals are achievable if your enterprise customer is looking for end2end data management and not just a stand-alone tool.

No - not really - but it ultimately depends upon the org you're in. Healthcare did pretty well but other groups did terrible. Informatica is really old, outdated legacy technology and the competition (Fivetran, Matillion, DBT, Alation, Collibra) has been crushing them. They laid off almost 20% of the company last year including most of the entire specialist group. Many other experienced good technical presales people have left a while ago.

There are many other companies with much better leadership, technology and opportunities. I would never recommend Informatica to my family or friends.
