Inbound Lead Flow scores on here are really tough it seems.  Is that still the case? Struggle to hit quota these days?

Completely agree with the prior statement. Only difference would be my team (at the time) was a bit closer to 30-40% quota achievers. But second the statement around comp plan.

Agree with the previous response, lots of marketing events and activities but most of the lead gen is being put on the account reps. The comp plan used to be very lucrative but it has been getting readjusted each year, the accelerators can get pretty aggressive after 150%. Main issue is that management is fairly new, are not engaged, and don't understand the business. For new reps, it can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months to ramp.

Yes, the company is struggling with new lead generation. More emphasis on AMs finding new leads on their own. BDR/SDR is poor and heavily reduced,

Informatica puts a lot of emphasis on marketing but the return on investment is low. The requirement for a 5x pipeline is difficult, especially if the expectation is for the opportunity to be fully MEDDIC qualified before it counts. The opportunity to hit quota depends on many factors, with the quality of the accounts being targeted an important one. The comp plan is not as good as other companies I have worked for, so I would say it is average.

If you need to rely on SDRs to hit your number, this isn’t the place for you.  The good news is, almost every mid to large enterprise is a customer, and getting meetings is easy.  A good hunter will have no problem generating leads

There is a lot of demand gen activities, but inbound leads are few and far between. That said, hitting and exceeding quota isn’t that tough if you understand the data management space and know how to uncover opportunities. Informatica has one of the best comp plans in the industry and many reps are killing it. I think 55%+ of reps hit quota annually, but the good ones are crushing it year after year.
