Manager told me i will have access to open accounts and tons of opportunity. Is the open territory real?

Keep in mind that 90% of what's out in the open is junk. Good accounts (ones with buyer intent, industry fit or prior interest) are held onto by tenured reps. You're going to inherit 400 awful accounts as your "capacity", and you'll be tasked with finding needles in a haystack all day

I mean you get assigned a territory like East, west but 99% of the good accounts worth anything are taken and held onto by existing reps. Will take w along time to source good accounts

Honestly, don't take this job - they want to churn and burn you over 9 months and move on to the next rep. Even if you do miraculously hit your full $6800 MRR quota, HubSpot's new clawback policy will ensure you'll be docked on both pay AND attainment, knocking you from 100% to 50% for the month

The opens are real but they have already been picked through by hundreds of other reps with more experience.  Anything with Intent, industry, buyer fit etc is long gone.  People sit and wait to fight over the couple that fall out of peoples names each day because a rep has 1 or 2 more than allowed.

You will have access to a lot of open accounts in your territory but you will need the right filters to find the right accounts. No one will give you the Tipps because they all swim in the same sea. After Ramp it is very difficult to hit quota and thanks to clawback you will lose a lot of your quota

Emea is more or less an open territory, it’s divided by country and then segment SMB / MM / Corp ie all of the UK is an open territory within the segments, same as the Nordics and Benelux.

So if you’re UK market MM you can work all MM stamped companies in the UK but it’s a bloodbath
