Back to ReviewsFormer Employee I really enjoyed working at Hillrom. The people on my team were amazing and it really felt like a family. Unfortunately, like most large organizations, there is too much distance from the teams to senior leadership. While I loved my team, I was just a cog in the system, and easily dispensable. Sr. leadership had to make decisions for the overall bottom line, which didn't take into consideration the impact to the teams or the clients. Layoffs, restructuring and other reorganizations often removed really talented and popular people, and there was little thought for ways to keep them or help them move on. Unrealistic expectations had most reps with some sense of hopelessness as they would likely not hit goal, and there was little opportunity to be heard on ways that may be helpful for success.
