If you're in a Sales or SE role, looking for a job, avoid HPE Aruba at all costs. The leadership vision is poorly delivered to the market, as well as internally. Their comp program is highly flawed, often inaccurate. The beginning of each fiscal year, all Sales staff need to be on a 3-month (or longer) recoverable draw as they can't seem to roll the previous FY in prior to then. We've started the new FY on Nov 1st. Here we are on Dec 4th, and we have no idea what our roster or quotas will look like, and there's really no hint as to when we'll see these things. Pressure is put on sales, but no nurturing provided. The Channel teams seem disconnected from the rest of the sales teams, providing for very little channel support. The new BDR's aren't properly trained, so therefore really provide very little results, if any. It wasn't always this bad. This has truly been the shape of the last two years (with the exception of the draw, that has always been a thing).
