I was promoted twice from BDR to BDM to BDD and worked in Things To Do.
In-office it was a fun environment (sometimes too fun) with a lot of turnover as the BDR salary was super low. Comp plans constantly changing and goal posts moving.
2020 and on was better and some of the best selling years I had there, but a number of big leadership changes, shifts in priorities, and eventually hiring Kedar as CEO put a focus on self service campaigns and saw the sales org get cut by 60%.
Overall, it was fun but the product has a bad rap and the company hasn’t made enough of a change to differentiate themselves from their old daily deals site.
The companies that need to use Groupon shouldn’t and the companies that Groupon wants won’t use them. Browse Other Reviews
