My overall experience is that Groupon is going through a challenging time without strong leadership. Initial onboarding and training was weak and overly focused on product rather than skill sets. Additionally, you start your role on a probationary period and I watched multiple co-workers get terminated within the first couple weeks. I ultimately decided to leave because I was not learning or growing, my manager was brand new, and the culture was lacking.

This place is a revolving door with limited sales training and has expectations set for new sales people that literally no one hits. Groupon puts new employees on corrective action write ups. Was employed there for a decade. Every year new teams were created and account funnels shrank and were redistributed. Constantly changing commission plans.
