Gartner has strong brand reputation among technology executives and is growing brand among other business executives (CFO, CHRO, etc). Hardest challenge is the service is usually considered a discretionary spend and you will work hard for deals. Less investment made on professional development than years prior. Leadership varies region to region. A lot of turnover and Frontline manager role.

Gartner is a good company to cut your teeth and get experience as a young rep. The pay is okay for top performers but brand new folks coming from external companies will always make more than tenured reps. Inbound lead flow is non-existent. You have to hunt what you eat.
