Started out great, went downhill after the Vista acquisition. Everything about the Gainsight culture disappeared. Was impacted heavily by market headwinds, and recovering very slowly. Leadership is trying to motivate with empty promises that never come true. I was a top performer, and only received a very very minor pay raise one time. After being promised pay raises and chances of promotion many times. All were lies.

Market leading product, industry leader. High values and integrity at c-suite, unfortunately toxicity at the mid-management and sales level.

New compensation plan is lacking. Leadership doesn’t seem to care. Get onboard with the new pay or get out mentality.

pros: - clear and fair rules of engagement in sales - strong product but with flaws - EMEA has a great sales manager who trusts their reps cons: - lots of changes in last 12m that have affected the culture - tough market to sell into since 2022 (eco crisis) and has affected quota attainment - a very capable but not the most straightforward product in the market
