Would anyone still recommend to join Fivetran as an AE in 2025? Specifically in EMEA region.

It was a great place to work up until this fiscal year. Unfortunately, the direction has shifted under the current CEO, who doesn’t come from a sales background and has been making decisions that are impacting the EMEA region negatively — including price hikes and approaches that are straining relationships with existing customers.

The CIO and CRO are both strong leaders with a clear understanding of what’s needed to take the company public, but their efforts often seem overshadowed by the CEO’s approach. His public behavior — including online disputes and openly expressing a dislike for salespeople — has created a challenging internal culture.

Turnover is high, with very few people staying beyond two years. It’s a shame, because the product is genuinely excellent — but leadership is holding it back.

As many have posted, the Fivetran solution is world-class and customers continue to expand their usage of the over 700 connectors. As in the US, EMEA has changed over its sales leadership with proven and high performing field-based folks who are able to better support the selling teams and their success. A good time to consider joining the EMEA sales team!
