FiscalNote is making progress, however, it is a niche product in a crowded market. Due to a lack of competitive differentiation and shared capabilities across competitors, often the only viable incentive is discounting. When "race to the bottom" is a BD stragety, W2 earnings suffer and platform stickiness is non-existent.

I’ve had highs and lows at FiscalNote. After going public, the dynamic of the organization has shifted to a much more corporate model. Our inability to enhance our product has put us from being in the drivers seat to trying to catch up with competitors.

The push for profits at the cost of incredibly talented people will continue to be this place's downfall. This place is a Trojan horse.
