I was part of the numerous acquisitions by Digital River. Over time, Digital River seemed to phase out their acquisitions. While you were employed by Digital River most of the acquired companies were provided some autonomy.

Great product and in general a good company to work for. The comp plan here used to be great for the sales team but the leaders of the company basically pulled out everything that incentivized sales this year in order to save money and make the business more attractive to a new buyer/investor.

The organization is constantly pivoting to chase the new shiny object. While staying ahead is important sometimes the only constant is change and momentum can be hard to build
