The company over-hired, causing MQLs to be spread thin, making it difficult to maintain a steady pipeline. Partner management has also become a burden, as they often expect us to jump through excessive hoops to keep them satisfied. Despite a quota of $160,250 — just $10k lower than Midmarket — our average deal size remains around $5k, creating a significant gap. Leadership also expects sales to self-source the majority of the pipeline, adding more pressure to an already stretched team.
