Can anyone here share insights on how ENT / Strat AE's are doing at Deel? Are people hitting quota or is Deel still more suited to SMB / MM?

I am an ENT AE on the sales team at Deel and currently at 300%+ of quota this quarter. The ENT team is fairly new but Deel has invested a massive amount of resources in making sure we get the right support to close large accounts.

The executive team is committed to the ENT market and the product(s) are continually hardened and stress tested to support ENT requirements. The logo's in the pipeline and that we are closing are world class companies. Deel is also very fair when it comes to account ownership and ability to upsell established relationships after a first close with an ENT customer.

A good AE at Deel should be able to over-attain quota in this market with this product set and the earnings are uncapped. Is it easy? No. But for the right AE the upside potential is definitely there.

TLDR; YES, the team is hitting their quarterly numbers.

I lead the Enterprise NAM team which was formed over a year ago. I actually started as an IC before I was promoted. We are a relatively newer team, but Deel has sold to Enterprise clients before I joined and retention and growth is good amongst the early adopters.

While Deel started off selling to SMB and MM, I would say that Deel is definitely more enterprise-ready than many of our competitors, given the pace of innovation (2 week sprints) AND ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR, Security certifications received.  Not to mention over 21 core integrations (and growing every quarter). Selling into ENT is definitely more complex, but the key differentiator for sales at Deel is agency...listening and adapting to the needs of our clients.

My team is growing based on the demand from the ENT space for a more innovative and forward-thinking HR Tech partner across Global Payroll, EOR, and Contingent Workforce management. The team is hitting their numbers quarterly and while it takes a few months to ramp up, given the complexity of our business including compliance and employment labor laws in 150 countries, I can honestly say that this has been the most exciting professional growth opportunity of my career.

EOR is a temporary fix for smb and reckless midmarket. Legal/compliance/infosec all hated the implications of EOR meaning you would grind away pushing opps through HR decision makers only to be shut down at crunchtime. Do not join Deel if enterprise is your passion, you will lose that passion quick.

Deel is still more suited to SMB/MM. Hitting/exceeding quota at the ENT is a lot more difficult relative to SMB/MM although aggressive quota increases across the board have started to level the playing field.

The other answers must be from people who can't hit quota in Enterprise. EOR and Global Payroll have incredible product-market fit within the Enterprise market. It's not all inbound like SMB so some reps struggle when graduating to this space but for any seasoned Enterprise AE, it's business as usual
