I worked at ClassPass for a long time, over 6 years. In the beginning the pay was great, hitting quota was attainable, and there was a lot of room for growth in the company. Currently, they are preparing for IPO, and they have massively cut everyone's pay, made quota incredibly difficult to achieve, and then done massive layoffs of everyone with tenure in the Sales department. The only people left have been there less than 3 years, and are making significantly less than those of us that had been there from the beginning. Inbounds have been taken away from regular sales reps and given to a specific team that only handles inbounds. That entire team was either laid off or moved to outbound positions. The layoffs are particularly cruel, as they are hiring all overseas people to take over the inbound positions, and are keeping the inbounds team on until July 1 so that they can get the new team trained before the domestic team is gone. The outbound devs were asked to stay one month before leaving. This is not the first, and I am certain will not be the last department they do this to.
