Shame on Brex. Seriously. Hundreds of thousands layoffs in the tech industry and these guys decided to over hire enterprise sales reps without any repeatable structures, revenue, metrics, etc. classic rookie move done by incredibly naive founders. This is not a sales driven organization. This is an engineering company. AEs are constantly set up for failure due to constant strategy shifts, as well as ever changing comp plans and quotas that have no data to support them. Additionally, Brex lacks basic productivity sales tools which contributes to messy workflows and a huge administrative burden for ICs.
