What is the sales environment like at Boomi?

In a 30 year career this is the most horrific place I have ever worked in my life. Currently looking at new opportunities. Let me be very clear. There will be no ramp. The expectation is that you sell from day 1. There are almost no new inbound leads. Marketing was all let go. We don't even have North American people. Everyone is miserable. If you aren't from Mulesoft I wouldn't even bother applying. This company has the largest C Suite I've ever seen. Building out a commercial org but have raised prices over 50% in just a little over a year. Lots of audits on customers which turns great customers into angry customers. So many different programs they want us to use from a sales strategy. They change them all the time. It's a depressing and horrible culture. Unless you are broke and destitute I would recommend you look somewhere else.

It's absolutely horrible. This year they rolled out quotas before they rolled out new territories- CRO manages by fear and has no idea what the market is because she never took the time to actually learn what Boomi does or what the customers are using us for. They're laying off resources and teammates weekly, increasing prices and driving current customers away. And the cherry on top- when I was there, they even missed one of my paychecks which is insane... legit just oopsies on my direct deposit one pay cycle. I'd stay away if you can help it, they're gutting the culture and positioning for sale- c suite will make money but grunts wont. They even kept the employee investments when they laid people off- fired folks and kept their money.
