What can you tell me about the sales culture at Boomi and how it differs from other sales organizations?

Boomi has a great platform they offer but when the company was sold to PE/VCs, the company culture went out the window. You are a number to the new leadership team. Culture is completely out the window and it's about generating pipeline and closing deals.

The current ELT needs to listen to the front line employees to better the culture. It's too toxic. Many great people that have been with the company for years are gone. New ELT is kicking the old out and the new people are changing things on a daily basis.

It differs in that the culture is totally dead. It's the worst sales environment i've ever seen in a dozen years in tech sales. No one hits quota- the best people are leaving or getting laid off. Leadership changes hands and direction daily. Its abysmal

Sales culture will differ from region. If you're in the new hubs, IE Canada, Spain, you might have a better vibe as they're the new initiative that the ELT team is pushing. If you're based in the States, good luck. those are the reps being let go to make room for lower cost reps in Canada and Spain. I personally believe they cut up the territories too much so even reps in those new regions are having a hard time hitting quota and getting inbound. Boomi does really well within a specific niche of EDI and semi complex integration requirements. But is getting priced out in basic, SMB tier, and not quite there yet for large large enterprise like where Mulesoft is.
