My overall experience at Avalara was interesting. I was under a vertical that wasn't the best at performing and the numbers were extremely different from other verticals. Management was sh*t and would get mad at you for going on vacation or make passive-aggressive comments. There's a ton of help you can get from other team leads and such. You can make it a lucrative career, but i think this job just stressed me out more than anything.

Great and lots to learn. Amazing product fit but incentives to could be a bit better. Commission pay is right at market level

Avalara has a great product market fit, but sales teams have grown so large that inbound lead flow is slow for each IC.
