During my tenure things were very challenging. My VP was often unavailable for support during critical phases of deal negotiations, and championed particularly in relation to the new sales strategy championed by the VP of Sales. Her focus on outreach quantity over quality to hit sales goals—a tactic that became less effective post-2021—resulted in issues such as email deliverability problems, which made it difficult to meet quota.
She also demonstrated an exceptionally strategic approach to internal politics, often prioritizing tactical maneuvers over transparent communication and collaboration. This approach sometimes led to challenges in aligning team efforts and building trust within the team. Multiple attempts to communicate concerns about these strategies to her often felt unacknowledged, which had an impact on team morale and overall effectiveness. Browse Other Reviews
