I was surprised to learn that the company's primary sales motion centers around compliance of Terms of Service. Base pay and total comp is well below average and no stock/options were offered.

This company changes frequently. Lack of processes. Lack of support for sales teams. Sales leadership is focused on profit over paying their reps fairly. Change of value prop frequently.

Skeleton crew so you end up doing 3 other people’s jobs. Sales structure is to shake down current customers or enforce Terms of Service (not selling,threatening). Future growth nonexistent. Anyone currently interviewing for a sales role understand that the promises the sales department have made to AEs have not been met after those AEs join the company. Some AEs promised mid-market and then essentially demoted to Commercial Account Executive.
