Benefiting from being market leader is great but the expectations of growth year over year are absolutely brutal. The law of big numbers just crushes people. There are a lot of pros to working at AWS, but the culture of growth is second to none

Solid product line and continues to innovate even though we were caught offguard by OpenAI. Still twice the marketshare of nearest competitor MSFT Azure. Extremely frugal, no ESPP, no presidents club and didn't budget accordingly for rollout of industry verticals for travel and conferences.
