Overall, I’m pretty happy with my experience at AWS. The segment I align to has a great culture and the leadership is actively improving the experience for sellers and customers. You do have to build an internal network to support your development and growth. You also have to build a strong brand by providing value and scaling your impact with your team and segment. Field sales pays better than inside sales and is a more mature organization. I would definitely recommend them as a good place to work for.

I was there for nearly 5 years within their specialist organization. It was great until the last year or so and our team got stuck with a leader who didn’t know what he was doing. He was very corporate with horrible reviews from the people whom he managed. AWS can be great place to work when you have good leadership
