Kind of a cluster. Was selling to ISVs that are already spending with AWS. Really difficult to figure out how to generate new business when the AE is already engaged with the account.

AWS pays at the top of market while offering 100s of infrastructure solutions to enterprise clients. The culture is highly politicized and "upleveling" often comes down to factors outside of performance and merit. That being said, the learning opportunity is unparalleled and provides amazing exposure to organization processes.
