Management seems to be clamping down on expenses and Sales commissions are a target. It used to be easy to make $350k here, now you need a higher degree of luck. They keep making the comp plan worse. Customers like AWS and it’s an enjoyable position to occupy as the AM. But the company’s E-Commerce culture is taking over (frugality, not valuing employees) YMMM

AWS is changing and not for the better. The culture has become toxic, but there are still opportunities to make good money.

AWS is a great company but the promotion structure is odd and it is slow to promote people. A lot of writing and data needed in order to get promoted. A lot of people looked over.
