The product misses significant enterprise features. Even though Alation has great inbound lead flow, the solution had difficulty competing even though the company employs good SE's and architects to work on deals. The product issues soured the vibes within the sales and sales-related departments even though the company had a generally good culture.

Mildly positive. Company lacks vision and they have junior managers running the sales organization. Typical, they over-hired and no one is making money on the sales side.

There are parts of the company that are humming. If you are on the West Coast it’s much better than the East, especially the NE which is an absolute mess. Both tenured and highly performing reps as well as newer reps are leaving, and mgmt is old school but may change as turnover is high.
