What is the reality for many Specialist AE's vs AD's made their numbers last year? Is the FY26 comp plan designed to be less punitive or does it reward performance up to 100%?

Been applying for about 18 months now for various roles in the Enterprise/Strategic space but willing to be flexible, ie Specialist. Very difficult to break through and get an interview even with a referral and over 8 years of experience in the Enterprise/Strategic space. Any pointers?
