My biggest discrepancy up front is the fact that other business units can poach your territory and weasel their way into your deals, and no matter what you are told during the interview process, the inbound lead flow is next to none, so revenue generation is almost solely up to you. Good place to start a sales career. Lower base salaries, but a lot of people hired here are fresh out of school trying to fet some experience.
