This company is fantastic if you’re driven, curious, and high EQ. Comments complaining about after-hour prospecting are most likely individuals who should consider a different industry than a sales facing role. Sales = prospecting and extra work. Micromanaging is very dependent on the manager you get - just like every company and every job. I made it clear during hiring I preferred a team with a manager who was not hands on and they obliged - of course there are others in company that are micromanaging. But, it’s not the company as a whole.
Big difference: Placer uses “verticals” such as finance, retail, CRE , restaurants rather than typical SMB, Enterprise, etc. They specialize in industry rather than consumer company size
PROS: unmatched sales training & platform, uncapped commission, professional promotion within, training & development, fully remote, INSANE product fit
CONS: highly competitive, some can find communication jarring from higher ups, SDRs do 500+ dials and AEs running 20+ demos per week (due to outbound/inbound demand) Browse Other Reviews
