Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Very poor sales leadership. They came in and thought that they could just implement what has worked for them in the past, forgetting that this is a brand new industry. There's been a big shift to outbounding which has largely been a failure. Companies won't really launch evaluations just for background checks, they'll only do it in conjunction with an overall HR process evaluation. Your only outbound success will just be catching a company at the right time, and they likely would have just come inbound soon anyway. They'll try to frame certain inbound deals as outbound to make people think it's working, but everyone knows the truth. Instead of just admitting it's not the correct path, egos are in the way, and they're continuing to double down. Being an AE at Checkr is pretty difficult, and the best way to succeed is to ignore everything leadership tells you, which is sad. The most successful people do a lot of stuff under the table.
