I stayed at Check Point for a very long time because I was there very early on. But over the years things got worse and worse until I felt I had no choice but to leave. The worst elements were poor decisions in product direction over a long time span moved CP from market dominance to market afterthought. Management is generally very good across the org for SEs. Even though the company can be cheap with certain things like events, marketing, and employee benefits, their pay structures are very good and they've never had a layoff in its history.
