Zip Recruiter was great until it wasn't. The culture significantly shifted after layoffs happened in May of 2023. After that, the clients seemed to get worse. The product barely worked. It was expensive when many clients didn't see results. By the end I was stressed out because I wasn't hitting my numbers and on top of all of that I felt like a snake oil salesperson. I had to move on for these reasons.

The account manager job at ZipRecruiter was the best job I ever had and I loved it.

I currently work here and the opportunity is great, but leadership and ROE needs to improve greatly.
