I joined Zillow during the latter stages of the pandemic, and my initial eight months were incredibly rewarding. Unfortunately, it all went downhill when Zillow Offers went under. This decline manifested in reduced compensation and a concerning shift in the sale of unethical leads. My decision to leave was driven by a misalignment of my personal morals with the fraudulent activities taking place. It's regrettable that circumstances unfolded this way as I genuinely cherished my role at the company.

Zillow Rentals is an organization in transition. It is trying to compete with apartments.com and has potential. They are trying to hit a particular property count to appease shareholders and Wall St, not taking into account the effect their direction has on a very smart workforce.
