product market fit is getting bad, lately a ton of micromanagement, Yelp is not what it used to be but the commission structure in Customer Success is great

Many things have changed in my time at Yelp. Most notably the leadership approach has changed and are putting everyone on PIPs each month for various reasons. Even though many are doable they stress and ability to take time off is strained as there is no way to make up for those PIPs if you are not at full steam basically each and every day.

My overall experience was outstanding. Biggest mistake of my professional career was probably leaving Yelp. They are great at what they do, they lead with integrity, and they develop and incentivize their people in thoughtful ways.
