Xometry lures you in with promises growth and opportunity but falls short in delivering on these aspects by a long shot. The workload is overwhelming, with unrealistic targets that create a high-stress environment. The Management team seems confused to what the company actually has to offer which creates internal challenges and developing your career. Additionally, the lack of clear communication and guidance from leadership has led to confusion and inefficiency. The compensation does not adequately reflect the amount of work and pressure involved in the role. Overall, the experience has been frustrating and demoralizing, making it difficult to find any motivation to stay with the company long-term.

The product market fit is great at Xometry and the demand for what we are doing is high. The managers are great people as well and it is not a crazy amount of work. That being said, there have been multiple months in the past year where 5 reps or less have hit quota out of nearly 35. Xometry started out great with generous comp and clear roles. Since I started, I have had 6 bosses and 3 comp plans. There is constant chaos in upper management with no eye towards measuring the success of a plan. The C levels are very obsessive and panic about minor or insignificant issues daily.
